Virgin Voyages is hosting in-person auditions for singers with drag performance experience by appointment in Chicago, on September 25, 2023. All performers must be at least 21 years of age.

 

We are looking for singers who have experience in drag performance with unmatched stage presence and explosive star quality. Our vocalists are given the space to sculpt and adapt to their individual styles and our shows embrace a vast spectrum of identities, genders, body types, and musical styles. Shantay you stay! We just want you to do you!

All singers must be comfortable learning basic movement, improvising, performing in close proximity to and among audience members. 

THE DIVA -  The resident Drag Queen onboard who stars in her own cabaret show, hosts bingo, and is the life of every party.  She is a fierce vocalist, has dance moves that dazzle, and a wit to marvel at.  Must be able to comfortably sing between B2-A4 in a chest/mix-belt register with ability to falsetto up to C5.

Appointment details and preparation instructions will be emailed if selected for an appointment. Please note that not everyone who submits for an appointment will be called in. 

 

NOTE: You must be 21+ to work onboard.

Contract Information

Contracts will be ongoing throughout 2024 on our fleet of ships across the Caribbean and Mediterranean. 

Salary: Starting at $1,100/wk. Housing, transportation, and all meals provided.
